Investigation regarding a Minecraft Mystery, a strange house appeared in his Minecraft version, this came from a video which deadsk1nmask made.
trone(y)sauce made a documentary about it.
He made a forum thread.
Investigation of the origin of the map/launcher[edit | edit source]
What Minecraft version ?[edit | edit source]
His First video showcased Alpha 1.1.0, and he was on the same map.
Or, alpha 1.1.0 came out on September 10th 2010.
The map/launcher was probably downloaded using a torrent software as they were discussed in the forum thread (to be verified).
As such, we'll have the most chance by searching for a version of Minecraft inferior or equal to 1.1.0.
Further version identification attempts :
The house's chests have no clay, or version 1.1.0 made clay more available, that could indicate that the house is from a version before 1.1.0.
Fences are placed, they appeared in 1.0.17.

Some of these candidates has been posted by one person called "anjocaido", he made the "V12","V12.1","V12.2", by the naming scheme and the description, it could mean that he meant to make an upgraded version, which maybe included a special map?
